Probate

Probate is the process used by courts to determine the validity of a will (testate), or if there is no will (intestate), to determine to whom the estate assets are to be distributed, and then to oversee the payment of creditors and the ultimate distribution of estate assets to the will beneficiaries or to the intestate heirs. It can be an extremely complicated process that creates stress and uncertainty for families, and often requires considerable time and money. Our job is to make the probate process as seamless and stress-free as possible for our clients.

Trust Administration

Trusts are an important tool we use to help our clients plan their estates, protect their assets and maintain their privacy. When a trustmaker dies, the successor trustee who is designated in the trust must administer the trust. Trust administration involves a private administration of the Trust by carrying out the terms of the trust. Every trust administration is unique, and the entire process can be complicated and confusing. We work with successor trustees to help them understand the trusts they are administering and to guide them through the complex trust administration process.
